I understand people, frame the right questions, design creative solutions, and create successful digital products.

I focus on business value at all stages so projects realize maximum impact.

If you're looking for someone who can see the whole picture and still care about the details, that's what I do.

Ideas to launch, or just one part.

Right

Delighted users see themselves in your product.

It starts with finding the right problem, not with the assumed solution or the feature request. The users know, so I ask them. I ask them "why?" until we've defined it.

I sketch and explore what's possible until we're solving the right problem the right way. I show ideas to people until they see themselves. That's the right design.

Then I keep going until the design is right.

The Echo Group's flagship enterprise EHR, EchoVantage

β€œHe really took the time to understand the workflow and listen to the challenges that we face every day.”

They knew their next-generation healthcare product had to be their best yet.

Forty years into private ownership, The Echo Group had an exit strategy. I was asked to help create their first design role and shift company culture to be more user-centric and design-led.

It was a complex product with many audiences. We spoke with tons of users, defined personas, and [re]designed key workflows to match the way users actually thought.

We built a design system that improved efficiency and product quality.

The result was an enterprise EHR that helps people do their best work.

Happier users. Customer base 10β†’100. Company acquired.

Build Your
Advantage

There are a ton of great tools out there. Maybe they get you close but not all the way, or they're just not quite right.

Bespoke software is tailored to how you operate and puts you in control. It's an investment that compounds over time.

Today's ski resorts compete on guest experience.

Cannon Mountain and I teamed up to build a digital signage app. We discussed operational problems and goals. We defined success.

We dove deep into how they thought about their work, and what it means to be ski marketers. What a perfect day on the mountain looks like to themselves and to their guests.

We built a custom webapp, a tool for Marketing, not IT. It's a creative canvas that enables Cannon to share their love of skiing, engage with guests, and deliver a better experience.

Reduced complaints. Improved guest experience. Empowered staff.

The ethos of high-performing teams is one of excellence: commitment, communication, accountability, trust, continuous improvement. These words can be found in corporate boardrooms the world over.

Another word is foundational to exceptional teams: connection.

This word is different.

It's about being vulnerable, it's about inspiring each other, it's putting your ego aside and including others.

To be in service to a cause.

Blue Angels F-18s flying in formation.

A few people with conviction can form a gravitational center that drives teams and projects to success.

The Blue Angels Foundation asked me to join the executive committee of their premier fundraising event, embedding as a technology advisor.

We started with the best question: "what's possible?"

We modernized their digital experience, built a mobile event app, and executed a 300-person, multi-day event that raised record funds for wounded veterans.

Elevated guest experience.
Raised 7-figures, twice.
